Air Jordans 5 Retro SP CT8480-001
Description
The collaboration between Virgil Abloh and the Air 5 brings a unique and deconstructed design approach to Michael fifth signature shoe. Released during the NBA All-Star Weekend in 2020, this version replaces the traditional leather construction of the Air 5 with a light grey synthetic and semi-translucent material. Abloh’s circular designs and signature branding motif can be seen on the inside of each shoe, overlaying the midfoot netting. In a departure from non-original Air 5 colorways, embroidered Air branding is featured on the heel. The heel area near the midsole is adorned with white 23 detailing, while a vibrant red Jumpman logo is displayed on the 3M-reflective tongue. The pre-yellowed outsole gives the shoe a worn-in appearance, a characteristic often found in Abloh’s collaborations with both Nike and Brand.
