Description
As part of Union LA’s 30th anniversary celebration, the Union LA x Air 4 Retro ‘Desert Moss’ is set to release, bringing back the modified AJ4 silhouette created by the collaborative partners in 2020. This particular pair is taken from a capsule collection named ‘Tent and Trail,’ which draws inspiration from the colors and materials found in outdoor gear from the 1980s and 1990s.
The mid-top sneaker showcases an upper constructed with a combination of vibrant purple mesh and mustard yellow suede. Eye-catching accents of turquoise appear on the lower molded eyelets and heel tab, which is adorned with Air branding in a lavender hue. Elements such as the stitched fold-down tongue, yellow ‘UN/LA’ tag, and translucent TPU wings are carried over from the 2020 release, maintaining continuity with the previous design.
Completing the shoe’s look is a polyurethane midsole featuring an aqua-tinged Air-sole unit situated under the heel, adding both style and comfort to the silhouette.
