Description
In 1985, during a Europe tour, Michael shattered a backboard while dunking in an orange, black, and white uniform. To celebrate this iconic moment and uniform, the Air 1 ‘Shattered Backboard’ (also known as ‘Shattered Backboard’ 1.0) was released in 2015. In the fall of 2016, the Air 1 ‘Shattered Backboard Away’ (also called ‘Reverse’ and ‘Shattered Backboard 2.0’) was released. This sneaker kept the black laces and branding but replaced the orange toe box and black around the toe and tongue with white.
