The Air 11 “Cool Grey” will reportedly be the December 2021 release, skipping the original colorway of the Air 11. However, for those still seeking the classic “Columbia” colorway, it will return as one of the Air 11 Low drops for Summer 2021. The original “Columbia” colorway was renamed to “Legend Blue” after its release in December 2014, but the color scheme remains the same with a white upper, black interiors, and UNC blue accents on the Jumpman tongue ribbon and the carbon fiber plate at the midfoot. The blue-tinted icy soles add to the appeal of this release. One interesting detail to note is that the insole reads “25” in the familiar numbering style, possibly hinting at a 25th anniversary of the debut of the Air 11 “Columbia” during the 1996 All-Star Game, with 1995 recognized as the year the model was first introduced.
