Description
The Doernbecher x Air 6 2019 Release is a special edition of the iconic Air 6 that was first released in 2009. Designed by Doernbecher Children’s Hospital patient Dark, this highly sought-after colorway was re-released in 2019 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Doernbecher x partnership. The blue suede upper is embossed with stripes and graphics, including 06/08 and 04/09, marking the dates of Dark’s first and last chemotherapy treatments during his battle with cancer. This re-release of the Doernbecher x Air 6 also includes some of the most notable designs from the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection over the years. As with the original release, the 2019 edition is extremely limited in quantity and highly coveted by sneaker collectors.
